More private homes are coming into the supply chain - a whopping total of 31,362 new units are set for completion in 2016 and 2017. Of these, 7,482 units or 23.9% have yet to find a buyer in the current languishing Singapore property market.

Supply in the Pipeline
According to URA statistics, as at end of 1st Quarter 2016, the total supply of uncompleted private residential units (excluding ECs) stands at 53,5123 in the pipeline. Of this number, 22,370 units remained unsold as at 1st Quarter 2016. Add 12,587 EC units to the supply, the total comes up to 66,099 units down the pipeline.
Of the EC units in the pipeline, 6,520 units remained unsold.
